Each year, meditators from our tradition celebrate on the first full moon night after the summer solstice. Known as Guru Purnima, this celebration is the highlight of the Vedic lunar calendar, and on this evening we honor the tradition of all Vedic Masters.
Together we will honor our Holy Tradition with a beautiful Puja ceremony of gratitude, followed by a group meditation, sharing traditional Indian sweets, & then a moonlit walk.
It is a tradition on this day that a boon (or wish) be granted to each as part of the celebration. In formulating your wish, it is best to think big. Envision something that, in its granting, will benefit you and others through you. Your boon should be something good for you, and for the greater good of the world.
Please bring a flower to offer, along with your boon. You may bring your wish in writing or in consciousness, having given it considered thought. At the end of our Puja ceremony, you will offer your flower and your wish in a symbolic surrender to Nature's organizing power. And then let it go.
All meditators are welcome. Please RSVP for this special event.
